Abstract:
This study aims to (1) evaluate the impact of strategic innovation management on business performance, (2) identify the key components of effective innovation management, and (3) assess the role of leadership in fostering innovation. A survey research design was used to collect comprehensive data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 370 respondents was selected to ensure representativeness. The research focused on technology firms in Abuja, Nigeria, known for their innovation-driven strategies. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.90. The findings indicate that strategic innovation management significantly enhances business performance by promoting a culture of innovation, improving product development processes, and driving competitive advantage. Recommendations include investing in innovation management frameworks, fostering a supportive environment for innovation, and providing continuous training for employees to enhance their innovation capabilities.
